Mr. Chandler has been involved in the medical imaging business one way or another throughout most of his life. Mr. Chandler first started with American Capital Group, one of the pioneers in the mobile medical imaging field. American Capital Group was later acquired in 1988 by a large mobile imaging companyt. Mr. Chandler then went on to work at Diagnostic Development Group, where he helped plan and implement turn-key imaging centers for DDG’s domestic clients. In 1998, Brett and his father started a small medical imaging operation in North Central Texas. The small company quickly outgrew their existing space and moved to larger facility. Mr. Chandler had overseen this transition and decided they should expand their services from three modalities to six modalities. He also had an integral part of devising the new operation’s business plan. After 2 years of being in business at their north Texas center, they expanded to operate three centers, two in north central Texas and one in northern Texas, all six modalities apiece. Mr. Chandler was the Project Manager overseeing all details for these acquisitions and mergers. He has served as of recent as President of this Texas corporation for 2 years and previously was VP for 3 years before that. His family in recent history was attacked by cancer, losing both his mother and father to lung cancer. After seeing this, and realizing PET scans impact on cancer care. Mr. Chandler decided to open a new company, a company that would make it easier for doctors to detect, diagnose, and care for their cancer patients. And thus, Accuro Diagnostic Imaging is born.
